Checking Out a Bike

Macalester students, staff, and faculty can rent a bike (along with a helmet, lock, and bike lights) at the Library Service Desk. There are currently fourteen bikes in the fleet. Bikes are available in three different sizes with adjustable seat posts and handles to fit all different riders.
In order to check out a bike, each patron must first fill out the Bike Share Waiver, which can also be done at the Library Service Desk. Bikes can be checked out for 24 hours, with a limit of one bicycle per patron, and cannot be reserved unless part of an official Macalester-sanctioned club or organization.
