Returning a Library Item

If you have library items that you'd like to return, there are two ways for you to do so. You can bring any resources you have, either checked out through the Macalester Library or Interlibrary Loan, to the Library Service Desk and our student workers can help you get those checked in. There is also an outdoor book drop for your convenience that can be found near the entry doors.
For items that can accrue fines, such as Course Reserve items, we recommend returning them directly to the desk so we can make sure they are promptly checked in. All bicycle keys should also be returned to the Library Service Desk.
